As a relief effort for the Pakistan floods that occurred in the summer of 2022, we are developing low-cost housing and constructing schools in collaboration with a local organization,Safe Delivery Safe Mother.
Bamboo is fixed diagonally to the outside of the paper tube frames to serve as bracing.
After the first prototype was completed in April 2024, the construction of two PLH structures was completed in March 2025 in the Dadu District of Sindh Province based on our design and discussions, and they were handed over to two selected families. This district is one of the worst affected areas from the 2022 floods.
In January 2026, we constructed two schools in Dadu, Sindh Province. The walls are finished with strips of bamboo attached to paper tube frames, which also serve a structural role as bracing. The roofs are thatched with locally sourced straw, helping to keep the interior cool during summer.

2022年夏に発生したパキスタン大洪水への支援として現地の団体であるSafe Delivery Safe Motherと共同してローコスト住宅の開発と学校の建設を進めています。
紙管のフレームの外側に竹を斜めに固定することでブレースの役割を持たせています。
2024年4月に最初のプロトタイプが完成した後、2025年3月にシンド州ダドゥ地区において、私たちの設計と協議に従って2つのPLH構造物の建設が完了し2つの家族に引き渡しました。この地区は2022年の洪水で最も大きな被害を受けた地区のひとつです。
2026年1月には、パキスタンのシンド州ダドゥにて、2つの学校を建設しました。紙管のフレームに竹の剥ぎ材を張って壁に仕上げ、これがブレース（筋交い）としての構造的役割も兼ねています。屋根には現地の藁を葺き、夏でも室内が高温になりにくい作りにしています。
