The design of this Lutheran church strived to remain humble in response to the religious doctrine as well as the changing redevelopments of its surroundings. All utility spaces were placed underground, forming a base for the actual church, which is characterized by its triangular shape and a plan that narrows towards the altar.

ルーテル教会の質素を旨とする教義を生かしつつも、再開発により変化する周囲の環境のなかで、十分に魅力的で機能的な教会施設とすることが求められた。必要諸室は地下に配し、それを基壇として三角形断面の会堂をのせている。会堂は祭壇に向かって収束していくプランにより特徴づけられている。
