Situated next to a train station, the Eda housing complex incorporates a commercial area. To take in the flow of people coming from the station, the commercial area steps up gradually towards a semi-public courtyard. From this courtyard, residents enter into their respective maisonettes, which are constructed of two container units each.

商業施設と集合住宅のコンプレックス。商業施設は駅からの人の流れを自然に受け止めるようなステップ状の配置とし、さらに奥へと進んだ上層に集合住宅を配している。集合住宅は上下2つのコンテナ・ユニットによるメゾネットとし、すべての住宅をコモン・スペースとしての中庭を囲むように配置している。
