Responding to the scale of the neighboring buildings, the New School of Business is composed of a cluster of small volumes which are then enclosed within a large, transparent box that continues the public line of large scale buildings along the main road. A harmony is achieved between the small and large scales of the surroundings.

敷地周辺のスケールと形態に基づいた１８ｍ四方の小さなボリュームが群をなす姿は周囲に溶け込むよう意図したのもであり、さらにその群を前面道路のスケールと形態にあわせた66m四方のガラスのボリュームで囲い込むことで、道路沿いの公共空間を引き込み、中間的領域を形成している。
