The roof of this boomerang house swoops through the scattered trees, floating in the landscape like an airplane wing in the sky. Ribbed and wrapped with a plywood stress skin, the roof further resembles not only conceptually but also construction wise the wing of an aircraft. The house sits at the apex of an inlet, and the oval pond situated in the bay of the boomerang creates the illusion of the inlet running into the site.

木々が点在している草原が緩やかに入江と交わるランドスケープに飛行機の翼のように浮かぶ屋根を考え、構造的にも実際に飛行機の翼のようにリブを入れている。中庭には細長い楕円の池を配し、道路からアプローチすると、軒下に広がる池がその先の入江がつながり、あたかも入江が入り込んできているかのような眺めを作り出している。
