Built on the historical west piers of Manhattan, the Nomadic Museum is a traveling temporary museum for the large scale artworks of Canadian photographer Gregory Colbert. Constructed out of locally rented shipping containers and recyclable paper tubes, the museum has been reassembled in Santa Monica, California, and is headed next to Asia and Europe.

マンハッタン西部の由緒ある桟橋につくられた海上輸送用のスチールコンテナと紙管による仮設の美術館。この美術館にはカナダ人のアーティストであるグレゴリ−・コルベールによる200を超える大型写真作品とそれに関連した映像作品が展示されており、ニューヨークでの開催ののち、サンタモニカでの展示を実現し、今後アジア、ヨーロッパへと移動し、展示を行う予定である。
