A temporary tower made of paper tubes designed for the London Design Festival. The aims of this project were to challenge the perception of the everyday materials used, by creating dramatic temporary installations outside the Festival Hall. The tower is made from cardboard tubes and articulated by metal joints. The structure is 22m high and became the tallest paper tower in the world.This can be transformed to a permanent structure utilized as an observatory, a green house and a house.

ロンドンデザインフェスティバル主催の企画として制作されたタワー。普段見慣れた素材を使って通常の概念を覆すという企画コンセプトから、紙管を使ったモニュメントを製作。星型のジョイントで紙管をつないでいくグリッド構造を用い、紙管構造のタワーとしては世界一の高さ22mとなった。この構造は、展望台や温室、家などさまざまなものへと応用ができる。
