Metz Chair

2011

The Metz chair is inspired by the hexagonal laminated timber structure of the Centre Pompidou Metz, France. The development of the prototype has been completed in collaboration with ARTEK (Finland). The structure is made of form pressed birch plywood supported by white powder coated steel legs.

ポンピドー・センター・メスの屋根と同じ六角形を基本パターンにしている。試作品の開発はARTEKと共同で行った。バーチ合板と白くコーティングされたスチール製の脚で構成されている。
