亀の井別荘「庄屋」耐震補強修復と改修

The main house of an Edo-period sake brewery, relocated to Yufuin 25 years earlier, was severely damaged in the earthquake of April 2016. The building was restored through seismic reinforcement and by removing the floors of the three guest rooms on the second floor, transforming the interior into a double-height space. The first floor is now used for performances, exhibitions, and various events, while a catwalk lined with bookshelves runs around the perimeter of the second floor.
25年前に由布院に移築された、江戸時代の造り酒屋の母屋が、2016年4月の地震で半壊した。それを、2階の3個室を床ごと撤去し耐震補強した上で、2層吹抜けの空間として修復した。1階は、さまざまなパフォーマンス、展示会、イベントに使用し、2階にはキャットウォークを回し、全周書架とした。
