The Long Thanh international Airport will be Vietnam’s iconic portal to the world and this terminal will represent the future of ecological airport terminal construction. This is the world’s largest bamboo structure using glue laminated bamboo. The design is a combination of innovative architectural and engineering solutions fused with optimized airport functionality. Bamboo is the most suitable material for this project, because it is not only a sustainable highly renewable natural material, bamboo also holds a strong connection for the people of Vietnam.

ロンタイン国際空港はベトナムの象徴的な世界への窓口となり、このターミナルは世界の中でもエコロジカルな建物として未来を代表する空港ターミナルになる。空港機能の最適化、革新的な建築デザインとエンジニアリングの組み合わせから竹構造を選んだ。そしてこの空港は世界最大の積層竹を使用した構造になる。竹は再生可能な天然素材であり、持続可能であるだけでなくベトナムの人々との強いつながりがある。
