This whiskey & gin distillery stands on the vast landscape, located in the Speyside region the holy land of Scotch whiskey. Almost 1,000 years after the arrival of distillation technology in Scotland, this project is to create a new homemade whiskey and gin bearing its own brand name.
This project proposes different designs corresponding to each function of the distillery’s activities, and to layout them on the site interactively. Blended into the Speyside forests, this Whiskey & Gin Distillery is a magnificent landscape views created by a series of timber structures settled on the prairie of the River Spey.
スコッチウイスキーの聖地スぺイサイドに現存するハンティングエステートの広大な敷地に位置する。 スコットランドの地に蒸留技術が到来してから1,000年近くの年月が経ったいま、自らのブランド名を冠した自家製ウイスキーとジンを創生するプロジェクトである。
本提案は自然や人間のごくごく小さな営みや因果の蓄積が、素晴らしい成果を生み出す、というダイナミズムに主眼を置いている。 本プロジェクトでは各々の製造過程を分棟として配することにより、一連の木造建築群がスペイ川沿いにたちならび丘陵の森に溶け込み、壮大なランドスケープを生みだすことを提案している。
