Situated in a prime location of Jakarta, this high-rise office building will serve as the headquarters for a major shipping company of Indonesia. In order to achieve a column-free office space, the central core and perimeter façade system, including the sun shading device, is constructed entirely of precast concrete panels woven into one complete structural system. Between the façade mullions, the horizontal sunshade louvers made of fiber reinforced concrete act as reinforcing members to reduce buckling. This allows the main structural members to be reduced in size, increasing the visual transparency of the building.
ジャカルタ市内の一等地に建つ高層のオフィスビルで、インドネシアを代表する海運会社の本社屋である。無柱のオフィス空間を実現するため、中央のコア柱と外周のファサードのマリオン、シェーディングデバイスおよび構造体を兼ねたプレキャストコンクリートの部材で建物全体を支持している。マリオン間に収まる水平の日除けルーバーは繊維強化コンクリートを使用し、一時構造部材の座屈止めとして機能する。それにより主要構造部材の断面を小さくすることが可能になり、全体の透明感を高めることに寄与している。
