ネパール地震への支援プロジェクト
In order to respond to the earthquake which struck Nepal on April 25th, Voluntary Architects’ Network (VAN) and Shigeru Ban Architects will support the victims with shelter, housing and other community facilities.
ボランタリー・アーキテクツ・ネットワーク（VAN）＋坂茂建築設計では、4月に発生したネパール地震に対して、被災者に対して住空間の提供を目的とした活動を行います。
As an emergency response, we will deliver tents that have been collected through donation and will assemble at disaster affected area as a shelter and medical station. Because these tents have only roof of membrane, we will use plastic sheets also donated by contractors as walls.
緊急対応として、日本から、提供を受けた屋外用テントの輸送を行います。同じく提供を受けたプラスチックシートを壁にし、シェルターや医療施設として利用します。
In a transitional phase after a few months, we plan to supply temporary houses using local materials which are available in Nepal.
Collaboration with local university, students and architects will assist the project.
その後、現地の大学や学生、建築家と協働しながら、現地で入手可能な材料を用いて仮設住宅の提供を行います。
In the permanent housing phase, we will also be able to have a project for the people who need an assistance. There are some projects which we had done and we will approach with our experiences for the recovery of Nepal.
継続的な支援として、恒久的な住宅の提供を見据えた住宅の開発を行っており、これを現地にて提供する計画も検討しています。
