Paper Log House for UAE National Day Event / 紙のログハウス UAE連邦結成記念イベント

For a UAE National Day event taken place on December 2, we built two Paper Log Houses: Arabic Coffee House and Japanese Tea House.
The two houses will be relocated to Wajima City on the Noto Peninsula, a city yet to recover from the devastating earthquake on January 1, 2024. Thanks to a generous donation from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Tokyo, as of February 2025, one house is serving as a temporary hair salon, while the other is used as a temporary studio for Wajima lacquerware production.
12月2日のUAE連邦結成記念イベント開催に際し、紙のログハウスのイベント棟を2棟建てました。
2棟の住宅は在日アラブ首長国連邦大使館の寄付により、2024年1月1日に発生した大地震からいまだ復興途上にある能登半島の輪島市へ移設され、1棟は仮設美容室に、もう1棟は輪島塗の仮設工房として使われています。
